Dearest PC Exco '07/08,
We saw the looks on your faces this morning. We saw the red, teary eyes. Though we don't know what's the cause for all this, we still hope that you guys will hang in there (: We really love all of you and don't wish to see you guys like this.
It's just a last stretch before all the pressure will be over.
Smile a little while, alright? We are always standing behind you no matter what (:
With love,
Sec2 PCs :D

HOHO.
see? i'm a nice soul who bothers to blog. (:
but i shall not go into detail about the picnic 'cause its the first day of school! and i, unfortunately, haveHimalayas of homework! /:
anyway, how was your first day in school? was the change of timetable good? (like you didn't do some homework of a certain subject and the period was changed to another day. xD) or was it bad? (like how PE was changed to today and you did it all in uniform.) ohwell at least timetable has changed! and fresh new ideas are goooood for us right? if not life would be so boring. (:
term three will be exciting! as promised by ms sim. so yeah, lets enjoy the term! :D
okay lets go back to picnic! it was very fun! :D haha jealous or not? there was a password before anyone could enter the pavillion (blocked off by twine xD) and then a souvenir would be given. haha. the souvenir was nice, so well done souve comm.! (if there is one. (x )
then we had tea, literally. and it was rather nice. i mean, any refreshing drink would taste delicious after a long walk to ecp right? (: TUNA sandwich was GREAT! haha. okay i sound like a glutton but it was reeeeaaally nice. (: then we had some talking/interacting session, where we got to know some old and new secrets of arica! haha. (x
4-7pm was games! :D i love games! and phew it wasnt orientation games that we always play. haha. first up was 'twine' game, and we REALLY bonded. followed by obstacle course. and then i cant remember the order, but there was Charades - improvised, Guess-the-name, Find-my-flipflop, and Drama-mama. xD and i anyhow named the games! hahahahaha. pro right! organisers please pardon the games' names. (:
then dinner! but we decided to go cycling instead. it was really nice to cycle at night! and now everyone knows my weakness in cycling after that night. ): and arica's too! and vicky's too! sheesh how bad can we get? /: but it was some sort of bonding. (: yupp we returned to the pavillion to enjoy pasta! to be exact, spaghetti. it was love! haha i can just finish all the spaghetti. xD
then it was some crazy time cause everyone started leaving! and some crazy allocating of food for people to bring home. hey i could have, and wanted to, bring back the banana split. (:
overall,
Food was GREAT.
Games were FUN.
Cycling was COOL.
Walking home was NICE.
Organisers are INTERESTING.
and apparently i have limited vocabulary. (:
i think its obvious who i am! (for those who were there. xD)

HELLOOOOO! :D
You know what! A really really NICE soul is here to dust the cobwebs away from this blog!
no, it's not yusin this time. haha. yusin, shhh! xD
Let's backtrack a little to the much-awaited Cedar's 50th Anniversary, shall we? And and and, if you all do not like reading long entries, sorry! :/
I must say that all of us PCs were really hyped up about it! Rehearsals themselves were much fun. From catwalking like models(sec 2 pcs!) to trying out the old uniforms, we've had much laughter in the process. (: yayy.
And on that significant day in Cedar's history, 19th May 2007, everybody was just so busybusy! Teachers, parents, PCs, Cedarians, school attendants, caterers, DJs, (okay, the list is really long) were all involved in the preparations to make sure everything was PRIM and PROPER. Personally, i've never seen such a large number of people working together on any other school event than this! Alright, DUHHHH its 50th Anniversary what.
Oh, somehow i think school looked really pretty that evening/night! (: dont you agree? Anyway, Cedar Gallery was well-showcased, it looked classy! Kudos to the Cedarians/teachers who put it up. It was nice seeing the ex-cedarians meet up with their old friends and try to catch up with each others' lives. It must have been years since some of them even met! Like this group of ladies who couldnt even recognise their friend. "Ohh, its Ah Mok!" Haha. Amusing!
I'm sure everyone who was involved in the Homecoming Tour enjoyed their duty! It was fun taking the ladies around the school and talking to them about Cedar THEN and Cedar NOW. A good exchange of knowledge between the two parties, and of course, it was interesting yeah?
Oh, i remember them being really shocked that we dont have to run 2 rounds around the school every morning after assembly in our school uniforms! Thats what they used to do. See, you all shouldnt complain about our weekly twice Jogging! Heh. Anyway, i think they could most relate to our old school track. Saddening is the state it is in, now. Well, i guess it broght back good old memories for them as they reminisced about their house practices, sports day, Napfa and track trainings. Hmm.
As for the concert, obviously it was the most exciting and much-awaited part of the day! School hall looked really grand huh. I want our Prom like thattttt(oops, am i giving away my identity?) Not forgetting our GOH, Mr Tharman. He arrived with such big bang! Our dear SPORTY-LOOKING Peecees who walked in with the first dish, good job! Despite the little hiccups before that, yeah?
Didnt get to see all the performances, but talking about the highlights, the Cedar Video, Solei's Dance, Novabelle's song item, the Band performance, Bollywood Dance and the Cedar Fashion Show are worth-mentioning. Our Sec 2 PCs can really pass off as models, sheesh! Go get some contract in the media okay? Haha, its a compliment! Our Fashion Show was really awesome! WHY? Cos we PCs were in it! WOOHOO. So WELL DONE everyone who took part in the Fashion Show! No, i mean, WELL DONE ALL PCs who were involved in the 50th Anniversary! :D
So did you people manage to get a snap with the celebrities? Haha. I loved the last part where the Cedarians from the diffrent decades initiated our ever-rocking school cheers. I really miss that kind of school spirit. HINTHINT. MUST keep up the school spirit okay? It's kind of dying down :/
On that note, LET'S GO BACK FOR CEDAR'S 100th ANNIVERSARY! YAYY.

hey PCs!
its been long since the last post, and our archive will be so ugly without the month of March! sheesh. /: time passes really quickly doesnt it? especially to the sec fours, its just so true. ):
it is just four more short weeks to sec four mid years, and everything is just going so quickly. so just heed me, all you sec one to sec three people, treasure your time in cedar!
speech day went well today too! :D i sure hope pc duty was fun for everyone, cause being a PC is extremely enjoyable, right? xD i mean its a great experience you wont find anywhere else. organising events is just a time for bonding yeah? (:
keep rocking, and being the gang that abides by the rules. no road is smooth all the time, and as PCs, we face the toughest battle. but we fight on, cause we've got each other, and cause we wear black shoes. we are strong. (:
STAY STRONG, PCS.
love,
youknowwho.
