HELLO PEECEES!

PC CHALET'S IS COMING SOOOON!

Event: CPB Secondary 4 Farewell Chalet

Date: 30th November 2009

Time: 1.30 PM - 10.30 AM

Venue: Aloha (Loyang) Garden Terrace J

Here are some information for you guys to take note before THE DAY!

Transport:

Secondary 2 & 3 PCs: 1.30pm @ Pasir Ris MRT. Meet Kaushi, Heather, Charlotte.

Secondary 1 PCs: 2.00pm @ Pasir Ris MRT. Meet Joy, Niza.

*Those who are able to go straight there yourself, please do! Just be there by 3pm.

** Secondary 4 PCs: You can come anytime! preferably for dinner, around 6.30pm. Dinner starts at 7pm.

FYI: We will be taking the shuttle bus service. Here are the info/timings:

Hope you all enjoyed today's 'New Leaders Welcome'

Besides enjoying yourselves and having made new friends in the board, we hope that the senior prefects would have taken this time to reflect on their performance as a PC this year. It was impressive to read your reflections (:
As for the junior prefects, we hope that you feel welcomed into the board. We are very happy that all of you have come to join the board. Our advice to you is to 'cherish your moments' in CPB cos its going to be an amazing, interesting and fruitful journey ahead!

1) We're doing the selections of the PPLs! Wooh!
I bet you guys can't wait to see new faces in the board right? Yes, yes (: Most of us are excited too!

2) Bonding Sessions

3) Annual General Meeting 2010
- It's compulsory for every PC to attend. So make sure you are free on the date set aites? It's only once a year after all and we'll be discussing some VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS. - ahem-

4) Welcoming of New Pupil Leaders!
- We'll get to hold a small welcome party for the new PCs! I'm sure you're very excited!

5) Not to mention, the long awaited O Levels for the Sec 4s!
- Not to worry, our dear sec 4s! Your juniors will support you all the way! We'll be there with you spiritually through all your future endeavors!

6) Streaming for Sec 2s!
- Choose wisely, people! We'll be there supporting you. Can come and talk to us when you feel like it, we'll be glad to lend you a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on (:

So yeah! We'll be very busy but hey, we'll have fun while doing work right? And don't forget to anticipate the upcoming events, that we will be planning!

hey! haha i noe i havent been blogging here at all, but i shall give this a try since i feel like it(:

anyway jiayou everyone with all their stuff, esp to the exco who currently needs to juggle ayc, keep going alright! i just want to say that i noe everyone might feel drained and tired at times, us sleeping like 1am and all,.all the hard work and even missing sch from start of aug till 11aug, and falling sick crazily, and having even to find time to plan for upcoming teachers day and PPL nomination, but do jiayou on this journey tgth yeah! its a few more days but i noe we can pull thru tgth in this!

and also, good job to express yourself day ics, and all the best for national day ics, its coming soon, and i noe you guys have done great preparations,all the best yeah! and as for sports day ics, keep going and jiayou in planning this event! (:

G'day, fellow friends!

Yeap, it's me, posting from Perth. I'm kinda rushing a Literature assignment now, so I'll keep this short and sweet.

Basically, I just wanna congratulate the new Exco of 2009! Gosh, when Joy Priya told me about it over Facebook, I was almost so ready to run around the house ten times shouting "OMG, OMG, OMG!" because I'm just so proud of you guys. Somehow, it feels like forever since I've seen you lil' monkeys and it makes me so sad that I can't be in Singapore to hear the announcement and see you guys going through the attachment period. ANYHOO, all the best in your journey ahead :} It's going to be one heck of an interesting endeavour; so make the most out of it.

As for the rest of the other lil' monkeys in the whole CPB, 'm hoping that all of you are doing fine as well :} Really miss all of you so much!!! Take care of yourselves, k, and look forward to Leaders' Investiture (which is going to be oh-so-excitingggggg).

HPC ELECTIONS
ARE BACK IN BUSINESS

Yup, on Tuesday, the nominees for HPC 2009-2010 were announced during morning assembly. They are...

3) Siti Rohaniza :D

Congratulations the 3 of you. I'm sure all of you will make this years elections thrilling and enjoyable for the whole school. I believe that all of you are capable of shining and have shone in the Board. So do us proud and show the school what you're made of!

To the other Sec 3s, don't be discouraged, for the Board to flourish, all prefects need to be committed to it. There will be plenty of opportunities for all of you to take the lead (eg teachers day, leaders invest etc) and I'm sure the nominees will need all the support they can get in these coming weeks. Advanced congrats to those of you who make it into ExCo '09-'10. Although the final decisions haven't been made, I assure you, everything will be decided and confirmed by the end of T2.

So, PCs, I hope all of you are coping well with studies and your other commitments. T2W4 is almost over cos tomorrow's Thursday and then after that's Friday and then it's the WEEEKENDDDDDD. yay!

Updates Updates Updates

Hello PCs!

It seems like this blog has been neglected for far too long! I'm here to brighten up the blog with updates in CPB and things you can look forward to this term.

1) More bonding sessions!
Yes, we decided to organise a few bonding sessions this term to allow us to get to know each other better. Currently, we're thinking of possible names to call these 'bonding sessions' so if you have any suggestions, please approach any ExCo member.

2) Sec 2 Appraisals!
Yes, this time round, the Sec 2s will be appraised based on their work this year. It'll be held sometime in W3/W4 so be on alert for Joy Yuen's wonderful smses to inform you of your appraisal time and date. Also, do check the PC Board for more updates with regards to your appraisal.

3) National Track & Field (22 April,W5)
Yep yep yep, it's going to be that time of the year again. We'll be designing banners and readying logistics for the BIG day. National Track is usually an exciting event so I'm sure all of you will enjoy it. Btw, it's an excellent time for us to show off our Cedar spirit. Hope all of you come with loud voices to cheer to the death.

4) HPC Elections!
HPC elections will begin sometime this term, so I hope all of you will show your undying love for all the nominees! More updates about this closer to the date.

5) Communications Workshops
The upcoming dates for the workshops are as follows: 31/3, 9/4, 16/4, 21/4, 30/4
They will be held from 3:30-4:30pm and 75% attendance is required. Ms Kearns will write announcements in the announcement book about the venues or if any changes are made to the current dates.

I hope all of you are happy with T2. I bet everyone's jumping about since the weekend's here. Don't forget to rest too PCs. Oh! And remember, tomorrow we have speech day, so sleep EARLY tonight and drink lots of water so that tomorrow you'll wake up bright and early, READY TO SERVE THE SCHOOL! Oh, remember to brush your teeth too, because it's a lot more pleasant to serve the school with MINTY FRESH BREATH!

Guess who I am! :)

Just wanna drop by and say "Hello" from Perth. I hope everybody is doing fine back there, yeah? It's been about...6 weeks since school has started for y'all, and I am sure your weeks are packed to the brim with activities, meetings, after-school commitments and what not. HOHO, I suddenly remember the hectic life back in Cedar. It does feel a bit weird having so much free time here :O But I'm slowly getting used to it.

So, Cedar fiesta is coming up! Along with Valentine's Day, Speech Day, exams...the list could go on and on. Is everyone excited about it? I wish I could be there. I've heard about the embarassing announcements and "glamorous" posters. All the best for your upcoming events, k? Show them what CPB is made out of!

School in Australia is very different to Singapore :O Overall, we still have more homework because there isn't much "study". The school rules are very different too, hurhurhur. I shall let all of you guess what my skirt length is :) I'm studying in a small, private school. The entire compound is only about the size of our school's first floor (I'm not joking). But yeah, it's got a homey feeling, and everyone knows everyone else here, so it's like a big family. Makes me miss Cedar...

Oh well, I guess all of you are tired of reading my post already. Shall let your eyes rest, and I'm presuming that the only reason you come online is to do proposals. SO CHOP CHOP, FINISH YOUR FRIENDLY PAPERWORK BEFORE JOY PRIYA/SARAH LEONG START CHASING YOU!

I miss you, prefects. Every single one of you...even the juniors and new prefects. Take lots of care, alright? And just believe in yourself. No matter what comes your way, remember that you've got each other. I know y'all can do it :)
