I'll MISS YOU, CPB!

Hi guys! :D I havent had the chance to say a proper THANK YOU and GOODBYE to all of you. Sorry I couldn't make it for the farewell but I hope you guys enjoyed the nerds and marshmallow we got for all of you. First and foremost, thank you for everything, the letters and the gifts, it was really sweet of you guys!

Anyway, thank you for your cooperation throughout our term and I really appreciate it a lot! Taking time off and helping us out. You guys are a really awesome bunch to work with! It has been really easy to work with all of you. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to bond the board further and it is part of my fault with all the events happening. So my wish is for you guys to stay close and stay as a UNIQUE FAMILY. Remember, if you need help or anything, the board is behind you all the way, supporting and encouraging along your long arduous journey.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE GIVING UP, REMEMBER WHY YOU HELD ON FOR SO LONG IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Remember, you have your batchmates and your seniors to help you out. Though we may be out of Cedar, we will be there for you too (:

Last of all, i know it sounds cliche and all, but being in the CEDAR PREFECTORIAL BOARD is really one of the best things that have ever happened to me. I WILL DEFINITELY MISS THIS FAMILY OF MINE. Because it is through this board that I have found great friends whom I can confide in and juniors whom are just really great :D

PC CHALET

Hello prefects! Here are some updates on the upcoming PC Chalet.

1) Please meet at Pasir Ris MRT Station on 19 Nov at 2.30pm
2) Contact either Rachel Loke or Yi Xin if you are going to be late as they will be meeting and bringing you people to the chalet
3) Amazing Race and New Leader's Welcome will be on 20 Nov so please come early on that day. Somewhere before 12.20pm
4) Details on the Internet can be found as to how to get there. Remember, the chalet we're going to is PASIR RIS COSTA SANDS RESORT. Because there is another costa sands resort at downtown east so do take note. It isn't very far from Pasir Ris MRT station, about 10 min. There's also a shuttle bus service that you can take from there.

Also, please remember to write your letters to the sec 4s by the 20th as the BBQ and farewell will be held that night. As for the PCs who have just joined us, you don't have to write to the sec 4s because you don't really know them.

So we hope most of you can make it for the chalet and hype yourselves up 'cos we have many activities lined up for you!

Oh and for those who have yet to pay their $15 to Xin Yu, please do so asap because we really need to pay Wee Ming's mother back. You can also pass it to any exco members if you see them around. If not, just bring it when you come for the chalet.

hehe now i'm inspired to post here too !
hey guys, one thing i really wanna say is,
you have the capacity to love and touch the lives of others! :D
ok that's really random (:
hmm .
when i first became a new pc at the end of sec 2, i felt really really distant from the rest of the board esp the old pcs (HAHA pardon the phrase , old people) .
and in sec three through all the events i got to work with them more, even though we dont really spend time other than working and meeting there's just this very warm feeling of being in the board.
and then the newer pcs came in through the ppl ,
i rmb i had such a hard time remembering names!
lucky for the black shoes!
*see black shoes, wave and say hi even though i really dont know you! *
i dont know when's PPL this year, but be warm and friendly to our new members k!
it's really an honour to be able to wear black shoes and wear the nicenice tie and badge (:

i wanted to say sth else but i forgot.
oh well!
i wont have any more chances to wear the CCU! ):
i think it's an even greater honour to wear that pretty suit!
hahaha yeah guys enjoy your time in cedar, it's really great (:

cos there isn't really a time i'm not bored from doing homework and revision

CPB♥

Hellohello everyone in THE BLACK SHOE GANG.

So, today was Leaders' Invest, and I hope everyone had a super duper great day today, cos today was your day! We were like the 'finale' leadership board, weren't we?(:

Yup, a huge THANK YOU to all the PCs who ran around frantically during the rehearsals trying to make sure everything went right, a super huge THANK YOU to the 3 ICs, Exco 10-11 and all the souve,decor,IT comm members, and whatever other committees there were.

The AVANT GARDE decor on the column was cute! and so were the souvenirs!
If you've seen the souve, you would know what I mean.
Such a creative idea, and I love the fluffy mask thing!

So, as of today, me and the rest of the sec4 PCs have officially stepped down.
Frankly, I feel like a huge part of me is just missing,
cos CPB was really a huge part of my life for the past 2 years.

I'm feeling sad,
but I'm also very glad that I had the opportunity to be part of such a fabulous group of people.

Okay, I'm just blabbering away, and I think you're getting tired of reading this.

So, I shall end of with:

Sec2 PCs: Just keep it up and always give your best to CPB! It was great to have known you cute people!(: And thank you for all your contributions so far!

Sec3 PCs: THIS IS YOUR YEAR. So give it a best shot, always strive to be the best. There will be obstacles along the way, things will get tough, but I'm sure you guys will outdo them. And seriously, this is the year when you have the most fun in Cedar. so ENJOY!!!(:

Sec4 PCs: You know what it's about, the big Os!! Let's STUDY HARD and get 6 points! JIAYOU!!!

ACS (Independent) - JuneAct: Back In Action 2010

Hey guys, there's an event that ACS Independent is organizing. Here are the details.

Date: 26th June 2010
Time: 0800-2100
Venue: ACS (Independent), 121 Dover Road
Attire: Dark coloured shirt, shorts and shoes

JuneAct is basically a day of fun and games organized by the student leaders of ACS to develop teamwork and leadership. We're allowed to send 5 representatives.

If you want to attend, please reply me by 31st May. Please also include your T-shirt sizes (you're gonna get new ones for that event: $15) and your food preferences e.g. Halal/Vegetarian/No Beef.
You're also reminded to bring a change of clothes. Maybe there's water games.

So please tell me if you are interested to go and this is NOT a leader's invetiture so it does not matter how many times you have gone for one.

- Remember to submit investiture report at least 1 week after the event

There'll be a meeting after school on wednesday by Rachel RC! There'll be an unpacking of PR soon! once the cupboards arrived!
